The Good Life Lab
by Wendy Jehanara Tremayne
This book caught my eye simply because Sandor Katz (from "The Art of Fermentation," which was revelatory) is listed as a co-author. It was a quick read about a jaunt from NYC bustle to New Mexico homesteading. The self reliance and creativity was interesting, and I enjoyed reading about the projects' specifics. Some of the ethos (soap is free if you make it from \
\~nature\~\, man) and ego made the book feel like an extremely long Medium dot com post. Agnes Varda wore it better in [Les Glaneurs et La Glaneuse](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Gleaners_and_I).
