types of risk

Autonomous risk: I have influence over outcomes. I can take actions that shift unknowns to knowns and allow an educated charting of path.

Heteronomous risk: Outcomes are in the control of others. There is uncertainty about my yielded influence and what their protocol for decisions is at some point in the future.
